A "mixed" factorial design is one in which some of the Independent variables are within-subjects (repeated measures) and some are between-subjects.

The computations are essential the same as those that we've already done for the previous ANOVA designs. The big difference is both the between treatment variance and the within treatment variance components get further partioned into their parts. This is shown in the figure below.
